EU Skills National Water Hygiene Scheme

To provide an understanding of the need for good hygiene when working with potable water.

COURSE OBJECTIVES


To enable delegates to:

  • Ensure that all individuals are aware of the ways in which potable water could be contaminated

  • Ensure that individuals who work with potable water understand it is their responsibility not to allow the water to become polluted

  • Ensure that individuals reach a nationally agreed level of training, testing and medical clearance



Course Summary


Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical demonstrations / exercises covering:

  • A health screening questionnaire

  • Training course

  • National Water Hygiene Test



WHO IS IT FOR?


Any personnel working on any part of the drinking water distribution system must be Hygiene qualified.
