This qualification outlines the reasons for safe entry and working in low risk Confined Spaces and the legal requirements. Learners will develop an understanding of how risk assessments can improve safety, the theory of safe entry and working and how to reduce the risk of harm.

This qualification is suitable for individuals requiring to raise their awareness of the risks of Working in Low Risk Confined Spaces and for those that are employed in the control and supervision of others who are working in confined space and need to develop safe systems of work including risk assessments and Permit to Enter systems.

Additional Information

Learners must be at least 18 years old to register for this qualification. There are no other formal entry requirements but to benefit from the learning C&G advise that learners have a minimum of Level 1 in literacy or numeracy or equivalent standard.
