Terms and Conditions

1. Bookings

Bookings can only be accepted if the course booking form has been completed and submitted with either an official purchase order number, cheque or Bacs payment for the full amount made payable to QTS Training.

Payments must be made within the agreed credit terms of 30 days.

Bookings may be received by e-mail, Fax, letter or telephone. All bookings are provisional and must be confirmed in writing within 48 hours. After this time we reserve the right to offer the place to other parties.

Customers that are unable to comply with the above conditions should inform QTS Training as soon as possible to discuss options.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that all personnel attending a training course comply with the course pre-requisites in accordance with our course joining instructions, if they do not comply QTS Training are entitled to turn the candidate away from the training event.

Candidates attending the course must be able to demonstrate their ability with regards to spoken English.

 2. Cancellation of training bookings

The following charges will apply to training booking cancellations:

More than 2 weeks’ notice from the course start date : No charge

1-2 weeks’ notice from the course start date : 75% of course fee

Less than 7 days’ notice from the course start date : 100% of course fee

Cancellations must be made in writing to QTS Training by e-mail, fax or letter. Cancellations cannot be confirmed by telephone.

Please note that the full course fee will be payable should the candidate fail to attend the course, or attend and then fail to provide the necessary pre-requisites in accordance with our course joining instructions (required documentation, log books, equipment, etc.).

 3. Transfer of candidates

Where a candidate is unable to attend a substitute may be nominated, however QTS Training must be informed of any such changes and the substitute must comply with the requirements of our joining instructions.

Candidates should arrive in good time prior to the start of the course. Where candidates are likely to be late they must ensure that they inform QTS Training of the circumstances. QTS Training will within reason will endeavour to accommodate the candidate subject to being kept informed, however QTS Training reserve the right to refuse the candidate entry to the course where it would be considered unreasonable to delay the start of the course or assessment.

In all of the above circumstances the full course fees will remain payable.

QTS Training will endeavour to run all agreed courses or assessments whether published or not. Occasionally, there will be circumstances beyond QTS Training’s control which may necessitate the rescheduling or cancellation of courses or assessments. In such circumstances QTS Training will give the customer as much notice as possible and a transfer to an alternative date will be arranged at the client's convenience, or a full refund of any fees paid will be offered. QTS Training will not accept any consequential liability irrespective of notice given.

 4. On-site training

QTS Training can provide services at the client's site provided that the accommodation facilities and equipment conforms to requirements. This is subject to two weeks’ notice from the customer.

 5. Privacy

QTS Training will only use personal information in relation to the training course being booked and will not pass this information on to any external organisation other than Governing or Authorising bodies without the knowledge and agreement of the candidate.

QTS Training commits to ensuring the safe and proper storage of all such information both hard copy and computerised provided to the company.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PRIMARY SPONSORS (Sentinel Training)

Please ensure that all candidates have been registered with Sentinel records before the date of training and both medical/D&A results have been uploaded. This responsibility lies with the Primary Sponsor and failure to comply with this may result in your candidates being turned away from the course/assessment.
