Course Objectives
At the end of the course candidates will be able to:
- Describe how the crane is designed to function under tandem lift conditions
- Describe what equipment calibration certificates and checks are required to comply with the relevant rules and regulations
- Avoid the cranes being placed in unstable conditions
- Demonstrate their ability to read a work/lift plan and communicate its content effectively
- Correctly attach and use the lifting accessories to ensure a safe lift
- Control the movement of the cranes
- Describe what information needs to be give to the Driver/Operator
Additional Information
Candidates must be a minimum age of 18, hold the PTS competence and be deemed competence to undertake OTP duties by their primary sponsor.
Candidates must hold Crane Controller Excavator Crane Competence and evidence at least 120 hours documented experience as a single lift Crane Controller
